Geldservice Austria (GSA), the leading cash handling company in Austria, has hit upon a winning formula for capturing high value deposits from business customers.

In order to stay at the forefront of technology and service-orientation, the company regularly launches new products and services. The Series 4000 Pay-In Machines from Banking Automation, known as the MULTI-Box within GSA circles, is the latest star of the cash handling specialist.
“ MULTI-Box enables our customers to deposit their daily cash receipts, irrespective of their bankers, at our machines which are situated within the indoor shopping malls,” explains Mr. Kral.
The MULTI-Box is situated within a semi-secure area of the shopping mall and, using barcode technology, neighbouring retailers are able to access the system and make regular cash deposits. A unique dated/times acknowledgement slip is issued to the retailer as proof of deposit, whilst important audit data is stored within the MULTI-Box. All of the MULTI-Box installations are monitored on-line by GSA, giving them early notice of customer usage levels, cash holdings etc.
Currently GSA has six MULTI-Box installations throughout Austria and the successful concept is growing fast!
